Heart to Heart, My Big Plans (and Big Fears) for PXL Nate

Hi everyone,

I wanted to check in with my most loyal supporters here in this space, where I can be truly open about what's happening behind the scenes. You all know that PXL Nate is more than just a business to me it's my passion, and I genuinely love creating pieces for you.

As many of you know, my family life is incredibly demanding right now. Between helping my mum to care for my Grandma, who is battling Alzheimer's, and my Grandad, whose health challenges seem to keep growing, the time and energy I have left for PXL Nate is stretched thin.

The honest truth is this, I can't financially sustain PXL Nate at its current level much longer. This is not a pity post or an attempt at guilt tripping anyone (trolls will say otherwise)

I love creating, but love doesn't pay the bills. I hate the sales posts, the constant promotions, and trying to sell myself. I just want to create and have it magically be sold! But that’s not the reality of running a small business.

This brings me to 2026. This coming year has to be a make or break year for the business. I have so many ideas for evolving PXL Nate and making it succeed, but if I can't find a way to make it grow and succeed over the next 12 months, I will have to close.

My biggest fear is that Christmas 2026 will be a "going out of business" sale.

I am pouring everything I have into making sure that doesn't happen. Your support is now more vital than ever.

How You Can Help PXL Nate going forward?

If you want to help keep PXL Nate alive and thriving, the support doesn't always have to be a purchase! Every little bit of engagement helps the business reach new people.

Engage: Simply liking and commenting on my posts on the main Facebook page or Instagram helps push them higher in the feed.

Share: If you see a piece you love, share the post to your own personal profile or relevant groups (where allowed!).

Word of Mouth: If someone compliments your PXL Nate piece, mention the shop name!

Thank you for being here. Knowing I have this community supporting me means the world, and I promise to keep you updated every step of the way on this journey.

Sending you all love

Nathanial

Hi Nate,

So sorry you are struggling with the current climate and also family circumstances.

If you don’t already, can you consider getting your items to shops to display for you?

Want to see you succeed.

Best wishes

Karen Batty
